SECURE TREATMENT PROGRAM
The treatment program (eight beds) of the Roberts/Smart Centre provides treatment for youth with a mental health disorder, who have demonstrated that they are a danger to themselves or others and that they require services in a highly secure facility.
DELIVERED IN SCHOOL AND RESIDENTIAL
Day Treatment programs are delivered in school and residential settings and represent a partnership between the Roberts/Smart Centre and school boards. The Roberts/Smart Centre currently hosts four programs with a capacity of 48 clients, consisting of long-term and short-term placements.
FAMILY AND COMMUNITY INTERVENTION | TRANSITION
These services are provided to high-risk youth in the community who are moving through key transition points in their development. Assistance is provided to youth and families in the community where there is a risk of out-of-home placement, harm to self or others and other services are not available or appropriate.
PREVENTION, REDUCTION & SUPPORT FOR MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES
The Centre provides mental health services in local high schools through the School-based Mental Health program. These services provide individualized, youth-driven support to teens within the school setting as well throughout the summer months where needed. Services provided focus on prevention, reduction and support for mental health challenges.
DEBBIE CAMPBELL LEARNING ACADEMY
The Debbie Campbell Learning Academy provides temporary or long-term academic opportunities for students who find it difficult to function in the traditional school setting.
