Join Our Team…
The Roberts/Smart Centre is continually looking for the “best and the brightest” staff to join our team. We offer excellent compensation, including top wages and benefits and flexible working hours, training opportunities and the opportunity to work in a number of different programs, including both residential and non-residential components.
In general, consideration for youth counsellor positions will be given to applicants with a post secondary diploma or degree in a discipline related to dealing with hi-risk youth, such as social sciences (psychology, sociology, child and youth work, correctional services), or recreation. Specialized clinical positions require a degree at the Master’s level in a related discipline, as well as direct experience in clinical work – assessments, individual, group or family counselling, etc.
Due to the significant challenges presented by our clients, those applicants with significant experience in similar settings will be given first consideration.
